Rebecca works as a freelance dance/performance artist, currently based in Glasgow, since arriving there in Summer 2014 Rebecca has performed for Fish and Game, Barrowland ballet, and Various Dance Artists, Melanie-Forbes Broomes, she is also a facilitator and workshop leader for @TheGlasgowJam working with Contact Improvisation in community settings, and writes for the feminist collective TYCI.
Rebecca also works as a vocalist, and has performed recently in Bristol and the Edinburgh Fringe with the sell out show ‘HUG’ by Bristol based artist Verity Standen.
Rebecca graduated in 2013 with a BAhons in Dance/performance, from the newly merged Institutes; Dartington and Falmouth University.
She also has a background in Fine Arts having also studied at Goldsmiths University, London and combines this experience with her current dance practice.
Rebecca is also a qualified Pilates teacher, trained by the renowned Brigid McCarthy, and teaches in and around Glasgow.
